CWB block 14 and stars

Just a quick post of the block I completed this week.

Out of the 20 blocks and borders I have to do, this is the 14th done for the Civil War Bride quilt.

I received from Jan-Maree these cute star blocks we swap each month.  I send her log cabin blocks.

In my display below I'm showing you a cross-stitch I have in my studio made over 12 years ago.
I still have a couple of unfinished cross-stitch projects which I would like to complete one day.

  1. I love your new block - so much work. Glad you like your stars. Great cross stitch too. I have done a lot of that over the years but my hands and eyes won't let me know. Just as well I got so much done in the past!

I did some cross stitching for my kids ( when they were little) I'll have to look for then and show it to you.

  6. Celia,

ficou lindo o seu bloco. Esta é uma técnica que gosto muito, appliqué. Adorei o ponto cruz, e tem o motivo de seu ateliê, a costura. Deve ficar lindo na parede.

    Beijinhos.
